Synopsis
For the first instalment of Tonight With… we worked with breakthrough artist Arlo Parks to bring her debut album ‘Collapsed in Sunbeams’ to life. The set design featured five different set-ups – a combination of iconic and striking staging and modern camera techniques, with cinematic lenses, portraying expanded band line-up performances with brass, strings, guest vocalists, plus interludes for poems and conversation.
The one-off special was released on the same day of Arlo’s Mercury Prize-winning debut album, premiered via a Twitch live broadcast before arriving on Amazon Prime Video. Musical and conversational guests included Romy from the XX, Dave Okumu and Glass Animals.
